Dance and acrobatic company MotionHouse presents ‘Cascade’

1pm, 3.30pm, 6.20pm (25min performance)

Energetic and thought provoking, Cascade is an attention grabbing, edge of your seat, in–your-face dance piece. Behold the flood!

Cascade ‘Keeping your feet on dry land’ is Motionhouse’ latest outdoor piece that has surged onto the festival scene.

Set on a submerged house amidst rising flood waters, Cascade is an enthralling look at one family’s scramble to keep their heads above water and their feet on dry land.

A company of fabulous dancers balance, fall, slide and tumble their way upwards as they ascend through the levels of their domestic life and arrive adrift on an endlessly disappearing island. Cascade combines the very best of dance and acrobatics in a physical and dramatic spectacle, in which the presence of water becomes more pressing and more insistently evident until it sweeps all before it. Cascade is co-commissioned by Without Walls, mac and the University of Surrey.
