Urban Playground Team present The Inner City

Parkour show by Prodigal Theatre’s Urban Playground Team with a chance to learn more.

For many, Parkour represents the ultimate liberation. Within the hustle and bustle of the built environment freedom can be found soaring above the crowds and negotiating new routes through the gridlocked streets. Outwardly the city demands conformity, whilst inwardly it presents a never ending chain of opportunities for subversion, celebration and creation.
The Inner City is a celebration of the inner life of the built environment, and the daydreams of every high rise office worker. Bringing a new meaning to the term “High flyer” the besuited UPG Team embark on an office romance, fight for promotion and look for new ways to get a raise in the boom and bust of a working day.

Performance times will be arranged so that there are one or two performances at any one
time. Each dance session will last approximately 30 minutes with three to four sessions each on Saturday.
