Freedom 2009

The fantastic Freedom 2009 weekend saw Hull come to life with live performances from Florence and the Machines, Patrick Wolfe, Peter Andre, Basshunter, The Saturdays and King Blues. International artists Carabosse lit up the Fruit Market with their fantastic fire installation and turned the area into a magical wonderland, whilst local bands and performers added to the atmosphere with their individual sounds. Not forgetting the awesome sight of the fleet of Clipper yachts beginning their round-the-world journey. It truly was a weekend to remember!
