Tickets are now available for Freedom Festival Trust’s fundraising gala, taking place in January 2015, in aid of the Freetown Society’s Ebola Crisis Appeal.
On Thursday 29th January 2015, Freedom Festival Trust, in association with the Freetown Society and the University of Hull, will join forces with key creative and business partners across the city for a one-off evening of entertainment in aid of the Appeal.
Freetown, a city twinned with Hull since 1979, is in the grip of an Ebola epidemic. In bringing together Hull’s creative and business communities and residents, Freedom Festival Trust hopes to raise vital funds to help combat the deadly disease.
As well as a fantastic line-up of local performers, the gala promises the chance to win a host of goodies in a fundraising auction, and will include drinks and canapes courtesy of the university. There are limited tickets available at £10 each, with all proceeds going directly to the cause. The evening will include performances from:
– Freedom Chorus
– University of Hull’s Big Band
– A children’s chorus, featuring pupils from Bude Park Primary School who have been working with Opera North
