Arts Award

Freedom Festival Arts Trust is an Arts Award Supporter, meaning we can help you achieve your Arts Award qualification. 

Each year, Freedom Festival Arts Trust can offer activity that works for every level of Arts Award: 

• Performances and experiences at Freedom Festival that we recommend young people see, with reserved Arts Award seats where possible and available.
• Exclusive meet-and-greets with artists and arts organisations.
• The chance to review and respond to performances as an Arts Award Critic.

2023 Activity

In 2023 we invited a group of young people from the Junior Design Factory with the help of Creative Briefs, and they were our festival reporters! They watched performances and then interviewed the artists, and also interviewed our CEO, Mikey Martins, about what it's like to run a festival. It's been a great opportunity for them to boost their confidence and gain valuable skills and we hope to do further activity next year to support anyone with their Arts Award.
