Hull has long been a place of inspiration for artists and innovators, which has no doubt influenced and enabled the cultural renaissance currently taking place in the city.
Hull is rediscovering its voice, redefining itself globally as a culturally-rich and diverse city, and a place of welcome, sanctuary and opportunity. We will continue to contribute significantly towards the transformation of the city and its communities.
Between 2013 and 2018 Freedom Festival, our annual festival, has welcomed an estimated audience of 650,000 (130,200 in 2018) and has enabled an additional spend within the city in excess of £21m (£4.3 in 2018).
We work tirelessly to develop the support and funding that will ensure that we can continue to deliver something extraordinary.
We are constantly driven by the pursuit of excellence in all we do, reflecting the aspirations of our two major funders - Arts Council England and Hull City Council - and wider sponsors and supporters.
Partnership working is central to realising the longer-term ambitions of the city. Our work with local partners not only enriches what we do but supports a much broader city-wide ambition. We also work with multiple social enterprises and community groups sharing skills and increasing access to the arts.
The support of our partners and sponsors has never been more fundamental to the success of Freedom Festival Arts Trust.
With your support, we can continue to drive cultural tourism, support community engagement and deliver an exceptional international festival that can compete with the world’s best.
As a sponsor, your brand will become synonymous with the ethos and reputation of Freedom Festival, one of the UK’s leading arts festivals. You will work with us as we expand our reach, build capacity and develop a year-round programme of work that cultivates creative excellence and innovation to set the foundations for Freedom Festival for many years to come.
Your brand has the opportunity to achieve a number of unique objectives from its involvement with the festival, through pre-event activities such as volunteer workshops, VIP receptions, ‘sneak preview’ events and Friends of Freedom initiatives.
We have a wealth of sponsorship opportunities available to suit all budgets, ranging from our Business Partner level, involving a year-round activity, to smaller scale sponsor packages supporting specific aspects of the festival. We work collaboratively with all of our supporters, taking time to understand organisational objectives and responding to those needs with a tailor made sponsorship programme.
