Two performers showcase an endless stream of outfits, from a worn-out denim jacket to an extravagant glitter dress, challenging our tendencies to label and judge others based on the clothes they wear.
Accompanied by a one-man orchestra, this is a mesmerising tribute to the diversity of humanity and power of expressing ourselves through fashion.
For both Sunday performances, Zwermers will co-create a local Pan~// Catwalk with our very own HEY! Volunteers, inspired by clothing directly from their own wardrobe.
Please note: This show contains partial nudity for a short period of time.
This project is about clothing and identity, two things that are closely related. Consciously and unconsciously, we shape ourselves – every day – by what we wear. We are continuously watched and interpreted by others. Zwermers is fascinated by the transformative power of that ‘second skin’ and works cross-disciplinary and interactively on all kinds of manifestations of this project, live performances in various forms, (interactive) installations and video works.
