Pupils from two local primary schools have taken part in an exciting project to design their own allotments as part of an initiative developed by Keepmoat Homes and supported by the Freedom Festival Arts Trust.

80 children from Years 4 and 5 at Francis Askew and Wheeler Primary School took part in the project where they explored what it means to be part of their community, drawing home grown vegetables and learned about growing their own food, as part of an initiative aimed at bringing the local community closer together.
