Our Partners

Nothing ‘great’ is achieved in isolation.

Hull has long been a place of inspiration for artists and innovators, which has no doubt influenced and enabled the cultural renaissance currently taking place in the city.

Hull is rediscovering its voice, redefining itself globally as a culturally-rich and diverse city, and a place of welcome, sanctuary and opportunity. We will continue to contribute significantly towards the transformation of the city and its communities.

Partnership working is central to realising the longer-term ambitions of the city. Our work with local partners not only enriches what we do but supports a much broader city-wide ambition. We also work with multiple social enterprises and community groups sharing skills and increasing access to the arts.

The support of our partners and sponsors has never been more fundamental to the success of Freedom Festival Arts Trust.

Official Funding Partners

We are constantly driven by the pursuit of excellence in all we do, reflecting the aspirations of our two major funders  - Arts Council England and Hull City Council - and our wider supporters and funders.

We are proud to be one of Arts Council England's National Portfolio Organisations, regarded as a leader in the field of outdoor arts. We work in partnership because nothing great is achieved in isolation.

Creative Partners

“From coast to cities, connecting local stories with extraordinary outdoor performances.”

In being international, we’re proud to be a gateway to exceptional international makers, providing an exciting opportunity for the city and for creatives in the city and beyond to network, collaborate and be inspired.

Our success is not achieved in isolation. Since our inception in 2013 we have established pioneering new models of cross-sector collaboration, working with public sector, social enterprises, academia, industry, international creative networks, artists and our communities. Such alliances are central to the realisation of our ambition.

As an organisation with a growing recognition internationally with a reputation for supporting a diverse range of artists, we’re expanding our global reach through the cultivation of strategic alliances with artists, producers, creative networks and cultural embassies.

We are proud to be part of the artistic directorate of The Without Walls Network and one of only three UK partners of the Europe-wide IN SITU Network.
