Invisible People

An exhibition which exposes the reality of modern day slavery.

Slavery was abolished in the UK in 1807, yet more than 200 years on it still exists. Sometimes it is right before our eyes and yet we don’t really see it.

Presenting a snapshot of life in modern slavery, this powerful exhibition includes a glimpse into the worlds of agriculture, construction, maritime, cannabis farming, food processing, child trafficking and forced prostitution.

Created by the NCA with award-winning photographer Rory Carnegie and human rights charity the Helen Bamber Foundation, the exhibition aims to recreate the lives of Invisible People and expose the reality of modern slavery.
