The search for life elsewhere poses many scientific questions, but also deeper questions about our existence on Earth. What is more challenging – the thought of being alone in the Universe or the idea that we may have company? Join Brad Gibson, Head of Physics at the University of Hull as he talks about the places in the galaxy life is most likely to develop. He will be joined by Stephen Burwood, the Senior Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Hull who will reflect on the societal implications of this research.
British Sign Language interpreters will be on site for this talk.
