Without Walls: artist call out for new outdoor work

Calling all artists. Make 2019 the year to bring your idea to life.

Without Walls is inviting artists and companies to apply for funding through its Blueprint R&D programme, to support the Research and Development costs of new outdoor touring work for final presentation in 2020 or beyond.

Without Walls recognises that ambitious new work takes time to bring to fruition and that artists can benefit from the opportunity to explore new ideas as part of the development process, before committing to a production. This approach can also assist with fundraising for new work, and be a useful way of engaging commissioners, supporters and partners in new work.

As one of the lead artistic partners of Without Walls we’re happy to offer advice on applications for the Blueprint funding opportunity from local artists so please do get in touch. We do however have limited capacity so please email Laura Beddows (Producer at Freedom Festival) at laurab@freedomfestival.co.uk and we’ll arrange the best way to feedback on your draft application or idea.

The deadline for applications is 10am on Monday 28 January 2019. All applicants will be informed of the results of their application by the 15 March 2019.

For more information visit the Without Walls website.
