New year, new people - Welcome to the team Beth Murrell!

Beth is taking over all things engagement and participation in the new role of Participation and Engagement Producer. Many of you will already know Beth from her brilliant work at Absolutely Cultured and we are very happy she decided to make the leap our way for new challenges!

About Beth

Beth is a Hull born and bred creative, who has worked across theatre making, theatre production and engagement. A graduate of the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, Beth has worked on both sides of the M62, aiming to create spaces shaped by people, for people. She has worked in theatre as a producer and a director, with her debut show as a director playing at Hull Truck Theatre. Whilst freelancing on theatre projects in Yorkshire, Beth has worked in engagement for the past two years. She believes in the power of participants and most recently led on Absolutely Cultured’s social action programme, and is thrilled to be working further on participation and engagement with Freedom Festival Arts Trust!
