Thank you so much for signing up to be part of Parade- The Big Wheel. We're thrilled to have you on board. This page will hold all the information you need for taking part and will be updated regularly. Please bear with us while we get information in from our artists. In the meantime, why not get inspired and watch the trailer.
Workshops
Wednesday 27th August 11am-1pm
Friday 29th August 6.30pm-8.30pm followed by an optional free show (9.00pm-10.00pm approx.)
You are invited to both workshops, but if you can only make one the Friday 29th is ideal.
As a thank you for giving up your time, we’ve secured free tickets for you to come with us to see Genesis which we’re presenting at Hull Truck after the workshop on the Friday!

Saturday 30th August 11.00am-12.00pm and 3.30pm-4.30pm
Sunday 31st August 11.00am-12.00pm and 2.00pm-3.00pm
Workshops for general sign up and the final rehearsal will be held at Jubilee Church. The venue is fully accessible.

JUBILEE CHURCH ACCESS INFOFor the workshops- comfortable clothing you can move in.
For the shows- bright tops/jumpers/colourful clothing with trousers. No open toes shoes, please bring trainers for the performance. Comfortable clothing- wear something you can move easily in.
Workshop leaders and participants will work together to create the content, making it a collaborative experience. The sessions will focus on easy, inclusive group movement activities like:
• Body percussion
• Clapping and rhythm dance
• Waving handkerchiefs as props
• Upper body gestures that show welcome, greeting, and support
All activities will take place around the Giant Wheel, adding to the shared energy of the performance.
