The Print Shop: Rise[up]!

RISE was accompanied by The Print Shop, created by R.M. Sánchez-Camus, and commissioned by Freedom Festival, with support from In Situ. The project responded to our desire to engage people in the process of developing their own voice, done in this project through protest slogans.

The Print Shop workshops ran in community centres across multiple wards in Hull, as well as a pop-up shop in the city centre, open to anyone to create protest art exploring themes of freedom and  empowerment.

Over 4000 t-shirts were created in The Print Shop.
