Good Things is a curated makers market bringing around 50 ace makers, crafters and creatives to the Fruit Market.
Expect the gravy-de-la-gravy of artists, bakers, creators, painters, movers, shakers, heart breakers from across Hull, The North and even further than that, just for you!
For a few days a year, we transform a dark car park into a bustling market hall, with a well-chosen variety of traders so that there’s something for everyone. We promise you’ll find something to make you smile, whether that’s locally-roasted coffee, a big squidgy baked good, a handmade item or a one-of-a-kind vintage find.
The event is organised by Humber Street-based businesses Form Shop & Studio and Plant and Paint and runs approximately four times a year.
No two markets are ever the same, with a different mix of traders each time, whether they’re seasoned makers who are regulars on the UK market circuit or first-time traders with a great product we’ve never seen before.
One thing that never changes is that the market is always free entry, so visitors are welcome for a mooch around. We’re also dog-friendly, so you can bring your four-legged friend and see what exciting things they can sniff out.
We like to encourage market visitors and traders who have never been to Hull before to also check out the excellent indie shops and eateries in the Fruit Market area. You can really make a day of it and we guarantee you won’t go home empty-handed (or empty-bellied!).
